The security job is one of the toughest jobs in the world. Why? Because their job is to protect people and property. Anyone can actually apply for a security guard job as long as he is over 18 years of age and below 60 years of age and he is a high school graduate. His religion, beliefs, ethnicity, color and etc does not matter.
Because of the seriousness of the duties and responsibilities of a security guard, he needs to be trained well so that he can perform his job well.
Part of his security guard training is the 8 hour pre-assignment course and the 16 hour on-the-job training course. Aside from these he needs to be trained for physical fitness, endurance and stamina- this is to test his strength. Second, he needs to be trained on how to be alert, brave and daring- this is to enable him how to cope with situations that are risky and dangerous. Third, he is trained on the different techniques that will help him to become a keen observer and to spot activities that are suspicious. Fourth, he is trained how to alert and warn people in advance.
The one applying for this job must be a fast learner and is willing to learn. This job is not everyone; it is only for people who have what it takes to be a security guard.
